Before the clouds gathered I set out with Dougall. He has boundless energy today. As his owner said "he was a bit nutso with the rain yesterday" and wow did he enjoy being out there. We came across some neighbours' children and I said hi. They were walking to school because it was a Travel Active Day- which means you have to get to school otherwise then in a car ! What a brilliant idea. So these little ones were walking but you can bike, ride, take a bus, just not sit in a car.
Dougall ran twice the distance I walked today. He was bursting to explore and while he did I took some photos of ground cover. Never a dull moment, not even looking at the ground.
Back just in time. The clouds gathered, the sun became intense, then disappeared and the heavens opened once again. The water in the stream is flowing strongly and Dougall loves nothing more than jumping in and having a long drink.
