Hello welcome to my Blog

Mezze is widely served in the Greek and Middle eastern world. An assortment of little dishes and tasters which accompany a nice ouzo or a glass of wine. So when you read mezze moments you will have tasty snippets of life as I live it, India for four years and now Brisbane Australia, all served up with some Greek fervour and passion.

Bangkok Heights

Wat Arun the temple of Dawn dominates the skyline and it is worth climbing to the top to get a wonderful view of the city, enjoy ringing the bells and the gongs and to listen to the monks chanting.

The Grand Palace is one of the capital's favourite landmarks and it is home to the royals but also the emerald Buddha one of the most sacred icons in Thailand.
You could spend the entire day wandering in the extensive grounds of the palace, with its ornate architecture, the exquisite style of decoration of the buildings with tiles and mirror work and the giant somewhat scary statues of the "guards" which remind me of something out of Alice in Wonderland.
Bangkok has that perfect mix of wonderful history and culture but also keeps up with all that is hip and modern so in the evening we went to Vertigo the roof top restaurant in the Banyan Tree on the 56th floor. Fabulous bar, panoramic view of the city and great food.

Just the perfect venue to give you that high and set you up for the week.
